disappearing

and things happened to the pace
of present happening

I'll leave a necklace
strung around
and beads that bind
to the backs of other beads

and we'll be living proof
of a reaction
a reply to the words
that send us

back to basics

I wish there were ample hours to each day, to get back to the routine scales. Around the circle of fifths, or climbing-by-semi-tone-hypnotic-mahinery-fingers, whizzing by four octaves, working up the grit under keys. A great way to dust my favourite piece of furniture.
